Temptation Waits

I’ve been feeling the urge to write a blog.  I don’t know why.  Maybe it’s because I’ve increasingly found myself in front of my laptop doing nothing.  Or maybe it’s because I just have this urge, a weird urge, because I actually don’t like writing stuff on the net.  But to my surprise here I am, writing this and I’m actually serious about it!  Can you imagine trying to name your own blog?  And in wordpress once you name your blog thats it, it stays with you forever! I actually did some quick 5 minutes research on blog names, and interestingly this particular site was very informative on the top ten words used as a blog name:

  4. world – 1.296%

  6. journal – 1.139%

The site I got that from is here by the way.  I was almost tempted to name my blog from these words.  Like maybe My Daily Thoughts but that sounded like a religious thing, or Life Journal but that sounded like another religious thing, or Weblog from around the World but I’m not that rich to be blogging from around the world!  Besides, I wanted this to be all me. )

So how’d I get this name?  Hehe.  Well I thought of the days when I was happiest – well most innocent I guess, most …well …. simple? The time when I only had 1 favourite band, 1 favourite drink, 1 favourite thing to do. Nowadays it’s like I have a million favourites, I mean just look at my facebook account.

And you know what came up? Garbage! Haha! No really, I remembered my favourite band, the first ever band I gave my allegiance to protect, uphold, and defend as number one band of all-time!  And what song did I love best? Push It!! Too bad somebody already got that!  I wanted to use supervixen instead, since thats the first ever song of the first album they ever made, but that was reserved!

So instead I used Temptation Waits. And thats cool too.
